We talk about brush pens a lot at Sketchbook Skool because they’re such valuable, and fun, sketching tools. But Sketchbook Skool co-founder Koosje Koene thought you might want to know how to use a brush pen—which is the subject of this week’s Draw Tip Tuesday.

Brush pens take a little getting used to, but once you try them and get a feel for their interesting lines and versatility with thicknesses, your practice will turn into a play. And isn’t that the best way to learn how to use a new tool?
